Our Ultimate Goal
Our goal is to reach as many students as possible. There are over 8,500 students in Marion County with over 4,300 on free or reduced lunch- meaning their parents are struggling enough without school supply issues also!
This Year's Goal
Our goal this year(2020) is to fulfill at least 1,200 backpacks full of supplies!

*8,500 students in private, public and homeschooled.
*4,300 students on free/reduced lunch
* 6 schools are Title 1 schools (low income areas)
*It costs a minimum of $30 per child to purchase a backpack and supplies.

There are multiple ways to support our efforts!
* Kroger- Sign up for MCSS and we get a percentage of your purchase!
* Become a collection site- Be a designated site for people to drop off supplies or registration forms!
Events
Our main giveaway is held the second Saturday in August at locations throughout the county.
We also have a "Refill the Backpack" event in January in collation with Martin Luther King Jr Day
You must preregister this year!
The sites will be listed closer to the event!
