ABOUT US
This was a joint effort to combine all Marion County WV school supply giveaways into one. In 2014, our first event was held at the Marion County Election Center with the help of the Marion County Commission and The Greater Fairmont Council of Churches. Since then, we have become a non-profit and have expanded from one location to multiple throughout the county! We offer FREE filled backpacks to Public, Private and Homeschooled students in Marion County!
Our event is always held on the second Saturday of August and we offer a refill the backpack event in January on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
As of 2020, we will be looking for a new location.
We are not affiliated with the Palatine Park event.
